Dow has an exciting opportunity as Tax Technology, located in Sao Paulo (BRA). The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of technical processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight typically only on complex new assignments. Provides solutions to analytical or scientific problems in situations that are atypical or occur infrequently based on existing precedents or procedures. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
About you and this role:
  • Act as an evangelist to champion Dow's data, analytics, process and technology change across the tax function.
  • Administer and Maintain Global Tax Portal, a global SharePoint site used by Tax team. Responsible for governance, archiving, user permissions and enhancements.
  • Build and Update Alteryx Flows, data models and Power BI dashboards and reports to provide analytic insights for Tax.
  • Lead end-to-end technical project management for Tax
  • Administer Tax Technology solutions, including: Collaboration platform (Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI), SAP, OneSource, Alteryx, Analytics@Dow, and other Tax related tools.
  • Nurture productive relationships with Tax and IT leaders by understanding and addressing individual technical and business needs while serving as a trusted advisory to connect Tax and IT.
  • Partner with IT and other cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless automation
  • Leverage outputs from the Finance Intelligent Automation team to evaluate RPA use cases vs. other automation or process simplification opportunities with Tax Technology team in the regions
  • Drive adoption of RPA across Tax organization in connection with regional team

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI), and SAP
  • Experience with a RPA tool

Additional Qualifications:
  • Background in Tax/Accounting processes, or experience with Finance data and data models
  • Ability to clearly communicate to both technical (IT/Tax) teams and executive management
  • Experience in change management or service management efforts
  • Experience with additional programming languages such as CSS, HTML, and ReactJS are ideal, but not required
  • Experience with UiPath
